Reptile STEAM Lab with Dr. Webb & The Reptile Lady

Join us for an exciting collaboration between reptile biologists Dr. Alison Webb and The Reptile Lady! In this 2-hour workshop, participants will learn about reptile research, traits and anatomy, create a reptile themed printmaking project, and handle many different live animals in a small group setting. This will be an incredible opportunity to experience live reptiles with the experts! Animals attending may include: American Alligator, Large Desert Tortoise, Alligator Snapping Turtle, Bearded Dragon, Ball Python, Burmese Python, Boa Constrictor, Gaboon Viper (venom surgically removed), and a large Rock Iguana. *Animal line up is subject to change but still guaranteed to be awesome!

Animals in Winter

Have you ever wondered where turtles go in the winter? Or why some animals migrate and some hibernate? Then come join us as we learn about the unique strategies animals use to survive during the winter season. We will cover familiar topics like hibernation and some that may surprise you!

Feathers, Fur, & Scales

Learn about the unique traits of birds, mammals, and reptiles as we compare their anatomy and adaptations. Participants will work through self-guided stations with art and science projects.
